Hello Folks,
I just wanted to breifly mention and congradulate
my freind and Dehier Ruth Negash of California for being chosen
as a memeber of a ground breaking US Peace Corps
Volunteer to Jordan. This is the first time
that the US PEACE CORPS have gone to Jordan.
She is the only Young[very early 20's] and Black American to go
onto a mission where it is usually reserved
for "older" [read more wiser and learned] people when the Corps goes
on an initiating mission.
She will be working in Community Health Planning where I figure
she will be practicing on the Jordanians before sho moves
on to Eritrea :-).
The Corps group met with The Hillary Clinton where Ruth
was chosen as the group speaker and presented the First Lady
with a "Mosseb" [meblie Qursi?] that her Grandmother in
Eritrea Made.
This story illustrates that Silent Dehaier do a lot more
than meets the "screen".
